Acknowledge Your Talents
By Lorraine | April 20, 2008
By Lorraine | April 20, 2008On 15th March I wrote a post on We all need to achieve and feel good.
This posting was emailed to the head Pastor Rob Buckingham who read it to the whole congregation at Bayside Church last night.
As I was sitting there listening to the words that I had written, I acknowledged just how talented I really am.
Now this may sound very egotistical but the point is, if you don’t give yourself a pat on the back, who will?
To be productive in your business and life you need to use your unique gifts. We all have them.
I went into business because one of my skills is organising. I’m really good at getting things done and can help others do the same. On the flip side, I’m not a detailed person so if that is a skill that is required in my business or other areas of my life, I find other people who have that skill to help me. (And I really appreciate it).
We all have talents that we often overlook. Find out what yours are and make sure you use them.
If you’re not using your talents or skills , particularly those that you are passionate about, find some way to use them…whether it’s in your business or in the community.

Of course, the person who emailed it thought so too!
