Take the Initiative. Follow Up and Get Things Done

When you’re waiting on a response from a message you’ve left with someone whether it was by phone or email, make sure you diarise to follow up, just in case they don’t get back to you.
An interior designer I’ve contracted to work on my new property has been waiting on specifications from the builder’s office.Â
When I spoke with her today, she still hadn’t received the information required and hadn’t done anything to follow up. Â
I made contact with the builder and found out they hadn’t received the designer’s email!
So there you go, while everyone sits around waiting, nothing gets done. Happens in business all the time!
Make sure you’re pro-active.
