“How can I structure meetings so that objectives are met and progress is made?”
By Lorraine | June 3, 2005
1. Only have those people who should be at the meeting attend.
2. Have a set agenda which is circulated well in advance with timeframes next to each item.
3. Have the most important topic to be discussed placed directlyafter the debrief of actions that came out of the previous meeting.
4. Ensure you have a strong chairperson run the meeting.
5. Circulate minutes from the meeting with the relevant names next to items requiring action.
Follow-up to ensure action is taken.
